From a young man in school, he was interested and showed a knack for playing poker as well as blackjack. Bloch, not only a staple in the world of poker, but has the smarts as well, graduated with two degrees - one in electrical engineering from MIT as well as a law degree from the prominent and respectable Harvard Law school, which is impressive by many standards the nation over. After MIT, he played blackjack to pay his way through Harvard, though not accepting a job in law after completing school.

Andy's poker playing style is a combination of skill and instinct that he makes sure to keep close to his game.
